Heavenly Mussels
OK, this is the very best. I love this dish, and there are PLENTY of stories behind why I love mussels. Like the time I took a business trip to Europe and traveled to Normandy with a friend to visit the World War II ruins. We happened upon a wonderful cafe near the famous invasion beaches and they served buckets and buckets of delicious and steaming mussels. I was in heaven. Whenever I see my friend Derrick Tarver, who traveled with me on that trip, we reminisce about the "mussels." User Rating:

Mom's Chicken Soup
This is one of the most famous dishes of all in my mother's recipe book. Chicken soup was like a religion in our family, and woe to the sibling who failed to pay it respect. Salty or seasoned or not, you had not choice but to LOVE mom's chicken soup,. User Rating:

Spanish Churros
From Wikipedia: Churros, sometimes referred to as a Spanish doughnut, are fried-dough pastry-based snacks, sometimes made from potato dough, that originated in Spain. They are also popular in Latin America, France, Portugal, the United States, and Spanish-speaking Caribbean islands. The snack gets its name from its shape, which resembles the horns of the Churro breed of sheep reared in the Spanish grasslands of Castilla.[citation needed] There are two types of churros in Spain. One is thin (and usually knotted) and the other, especially popular in Madrid, is long and thick (porra). They both are normally eaten for breakfast dipped in hot chocolate. User Rating: Not Rated
