Ingredients:
-5 lbs of chicken drumsticks
-4 teaspoons of garlic powder
-2 teaspoons each of ground black pepper and cayenne pepper
-2 pinches of kosher salt
-1 tbsp all-purpose flour
-2 tbsp vegetable oil
-2/3 cup Frank's RedHot sauce
-dash of smoky chipotle hot sauce
-1/3 cup unsalted butter
Preparation:
Season the drumsticks with the black and cayenne pepper, half of the garlic powder, and two pinches of kosher salt. Let this sit overnight if possible. Sprinkle in the flour and vegetable oil, and toss to coat all the chicken. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes, flip the chicken over and bake another 25 minutes or until its internal temp reads 170.
For the sauce, mix together the RedHot, melted butter, and the rest of the garlic powder. Toss the cooked chicken in the sauce, and serve
